equations of life

first equation:
disappointment = expectation > reality

disappointment is a result when expectation surpasses reality. correct?

so if the above is correct, then the following statements should be too...

1) the lower your expectations, the lower your chances of getting disappointed.
2) having absolutely no expectation ensures that you will never be disappointed.
3) expectation is the only variable YOU have total control over. reality has other variables which affect the final outcome, which in turn determines the amount of disappointment.

so far, does everything make sense?

second equation:
fulfillment = reality > expectation

fulfillment is a result when reality surpasses expectation. correct?

so if the above is correct, then the following statement should be too...

1) With no expectation, there will never be fulfillment in life.

agree with me?
good, cos i'm stopping it here.

let's just say, i'm feeling disappointed.

Comments:
