What The Bible Says About Friendship
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, & a brother is born for adversity.
Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 27:6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10,12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!.. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Friends are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them
& a friend will not say never, cos the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands I know
That a lifetime's not too long to live as friends.
